It’s been over three years since My Chemical Romance called it quits, and there was a short span of time before the members started debuting their solo work.
Frank Iero was first out of the gate, releasing music and performing under the frnkiero andthe cellabration moniker (now rechristened Frank Iero and the Patience) and his electronoise band Death Spells. Gerard Way dropped his retro-fuzz album, and Mikey Way managed to finally push out music for the band he’s been wanting to do since he was a teenager, the Britpop influced Electric Century.
The only person who hadn’t released an album has been Ray Toro, who has made it clear he was working on solo music, but that it just wasn’t ready yet (Toro has a bit of a reputation as a perfectionist). He tossed out a couple of songs onto the Internet, but no actual album.
“Remember the Laughter” drops November 14th, and is available for pre-order digitally and on vinyl at Ray’s website.
