Will Wood and the Tapeworms celebrate with their fans the 3 year anniversary of their debut album ‘Everything Is A Lot’. So what better way to ring in a milestone than to put on a show? At first the Will booked a single event but after a quick sell-out, he added a second date.
These shows are sure to be intimate as they are being held at Backroom Studios in Rockaway, N.J., where it all began. WWATT are known to make every show a bit different from the recordings but even so, these two shows will be as authentic as you can possibly get. Tickets sales have come in as far as Hawaii but if you are not lucky enough to have snagged a ticket to either anniversary show the remaining tour dates are shown below.
Will Wood and The Tapeworms shows are the most unpredictable and engaging performances you can ever experience from live music today. Every person in the crowd is a part of something bigger than themselves, the band and the music. Like the third eye that audience members have been known to paint on their foreheads, it is as if the entire room shares an altered-state on consciousness.
“In celebration of the third anniversary of the release of my first album, Everything is a Lot, I’ll be hosting an intimate event in the same studio where the album was recorded, with the same old upright piano used on the album. For two nights in a row (5/25 & 5/26) I’ll be in the old live room, playing the album front to back, with brand new and unique versions of old tunes. I’ll also be premiering new songs, with some very special surprises up my sleeves. Unless I decide to wear a tank top, cause that room is small and it will be packed. This is a celebration of more than just an album – it’s a show about survival, about growth, and about how music and the support of my fans have made my life more incredible than I could have ever imagined.”-Will Wood
